Elizabeth Hinkle – Founding Member
Elizabeth Hinkle received her Bachelor of Arts with a major in
Philosophy from The Thomas More College of Liberal Arts and her
Masters in Philosophy from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. She is
currently employed by Ave Maria University in Naples, Florida in their university relations department. She has taught Apologetics at The Thomas More College of Liberal Arts' Collegiate Summer Program and has served as the president of The International Philosophical Students' Association.
Elizabeth Hinkle served, outstandingly, as the program's first Director.
John William Cowan – Philosophy Professor
John Cowan received his Bachelor of Arts with a major in Philosophy from The Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, his Masters in Philosophy from the University of Dallas and is currently finishing his dissertation from the University of Dallas. He has been an instructor at the Thomas More Collegiate Summer Program for eleven years and has taught at Assumption College.
Donald Cowan – Director and Literature Professor
Donald Cowan received his Bachelor of Arts with a major in Literature from The Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, his Master of Arts in Literature from the University of Dallas, and is currently completing his Master of Fine Arts in Poetry at the University of Notre Dame. Donald has also been Director of Thomas More College’s Collegiate Summer Program for High School students from 2006-2008. He has taught seminars on rhetoric at the University of Dallas's Winston Churchill Summer Program in London and has taught Literature and Politics at Thomas More College’s Collegiate Summer Program.
Matthew Connell – Political Science Professor
Matthew Connell received his Bachelor of Arts with a major in Political Science from the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, his Masters in Political Science from Louisiana State University and is currently working on completing his dissertation from Louisiana State University. He has been an instructor of Political Science at Louisiana State University, St. Thomas University, and the Thomas More Collegiate Program for High School students.
Finbar Sullivan - Proctor
Finbar Sullivan received his Bachelor of Arts from the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts with a major in Literature. He has since taught Ancient History, Latin and Drama at the High School level. He is currently employed as an activities director at a children’s hospital in New York.
Joanne Kelly Geiger – Founding Member
Joanne Kelly Geiger received her Bachelor of Arts with a major in Literature from The Thomas More College of Liberal Arts. Joanne served 8 years in Admissions, from 2002-2005 as Assistant Director of Admissions and then as Director of Admissions from 2005-2008. She worked at The Thomas More Collegiate Summer Program from 2000-2002.
Benjamin Kniaz – Director of Communications and Web Content
Ben Kniaz received his Bachelor of Arts from the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts with a major in Literature. He served as Assistant Director of Admissions at Thomas More from 2004 to 2007. Currently Ben is employed at Neptune Web and studies Graphic Design at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
